During law school at the University of Richmond, she served as President of the Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and competed in numerous national competitions. She especially enjoyed the teamwork, strategic thinking, and dynamic nature of live legal contests.
Originally from Beijing, China, Yanrong moved to the United States at the age of 18. She has since lived in Austin, Texas; Richmond and Roanoke, Virginia; and now calls Norfolk home. Outside of work, Yanrong enjoys spending time in nature, following international affairs, and scrolling through an endless stream of cat photos.
