Ed received his B.A. in Philosophy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002 with minors in Music and Religious Studies. Following graduation Ed worked as a teaching assistant in the Philosophy Department before moving on to law school at the College of William & Mary where he completed internships with the Virginia Attorney General’s Office, the Commonwealth Attorney for Chesterfield County and the Virginia Department of Employment Dispute Resolution.

Since entering private practice in 2006, Ed has tried dozens of cases and his litigation practice includes a wide spectrum of insurance related matters from products liability and commercial liability to trucking litigation, mass torts and insurance coverage. Ed has obtained favorable results in multi-million dollar cases involving multiple fatality and traumatic brain injury claims. In addition to high exposure cases, Ed frequently defends clients in unusual fact-specific claims such as defamation, assault and battery, and trespass.
