NICHOLAS "NICK" HAGER

Nicholas “Nick” Hager is an Associate in KPM LAW’s Richmond office, where he concentrates his practice on Workers’ Compensation defense, representing major employers such as Amazon and UPS, as well as insurance carriers including Travelers and Liberty Mutual. Nick brings a steady, authoritative presence to his practice, balancing strong advocacy with a clear understanding of the administrative and procedural nuances of Virginia’s Workers’ Compensation system. Before joining KPM LAW, Nick served for seven years as a Magistrate in Winchester, Virginia, where he handled a wide range of criminal and civil proceedings. This experience provided him with a deep understanding of courtroom procedure, judicial decision-making, and the value of clear, reasoned argument, skills that now inform his defense strategy and client communication. Nick earned his undergraduate degree from George Mason University in 2012, his graduate degree from The London School of Economics in 2013, and his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in 2017. He was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2020.
