Sophia joined KPM Law in 2019. As an associate in the firm’s retail and restaurant defense group, her practice focuses on representing commercial clients in premise and general liability matters at all stages of the legal process.

Sophia joined KPM Law in 2019. As an associate in the firm’s retail and restaurant defense group, her practice focuses on representing commercial clients in premise and general liability matters at all stages of the legal process.

After receiving her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland – College Park, Sophia moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2015 when she began law school at the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law. Throughout law school, Sophia had the opportunity to participate in a wide array of legal experiences through her involvement in the University of Richmond’s Family Law Clinic and her summer internships with the Maryland State Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Sophia gained further experience in the practice of civil law in Virginia State Courts during her externship in Henrico County Circuit Court during her third year of law school and her clerkship for the Honorable Judges of Henrico County Circuit Court after earning her J.D. in 2018.

Outside of the law, Sophia enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, kayaking on the James, hiking, and frequenting the area’s farmer’s markets. Sophia also loves exploring Church Hill where she lives with her kitten, Marty.
