Rachel joined KPM LAW, in our Northern Virginia office, about a year after graduating law school and obtaining her licensure in Virginia. After briefly practicing in the foreclosure and bankruptcy space, Rachel is excited to expand her practice in litigation and as a trial attorney, advising and vigorously defending KPM’s clients throughout the entire litigation process.
Prior to attending law school, Rachel spent five years working as a government contractor, primarily in national security and counterterrorism. The work she engaged in during this time very much inspired her decision to become an attorney. While attending law school in the evenings, Rachel joined their full-time staff, as the Program Coordinator in the Clinical Program at American University’s Washington College of Law. In this role, she assisted in the running of the law firm side of WCL’s Legal Clinic. During her time as a law student, Rachel joined WCL’s National Security Law Brief, serving as a staff member from her 2L-4L years, and represented the Evening Students as a Senator in the Student Bar Association during her 4L year.
Rachel grew up in Los Angeles, CA and spent time living in Boston, MA and Edinburgh, Scotland while obtaining her undergraduate and master’s degrees. She finally landed in Northern Viriginia in 2013 and now considers it home! Outside of work she loves to spend time with all the amazing people in her life and has worked with a local animal rescue fostering cats, helping them find their forever homes, when she can.
