Sarah Kathryn, a Richmond-native, is a proud alumnae of the College of William and Mary where she earned a B.A. in History and Government (Go Tribe!). She is a member of Delta Gamma and was President of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honors society. She also rowed with the William and Mary Rowing Club, making a seat in the Varsity Women’s 8+ her junior and senior year. Her sophomore year, she studied abroad at Leiden University in the Netherlands and while there, joined K.S.R.V. Njord, a royally-charted rowing fraternity.

Sarah Kathryn graduated cum laude from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2015. She spent her third year externing with the Honorable Charles L. Ricketts, III, in the Circuit Court for the City of Staunton and gained a firsthand look at both good and bad litigation styles. In law school, she was a member of WLSO (Women Law Student Organization) and served as Magister for Phi Delta Phi, a legal honor society. She came in second place in the ABA Representation in Mediation Regional Competition in 2014 and served on the law school’s Moot Court Executive Board.

In her spare time, Sarah Kathryn enjoys running and riding horses, especially fox hunting, and taking her dog, Cyrus, on new adventures. She has run multiple half-marathons and one full marathon (which she swears will be her last).
